Protect Your Brains the Old-Fashioned Way

In case you are interested in the history of helmets, here's a flow chart that I saw on Battle Castle's Facebook page.  Helmets are good equipment to protect your brains from the hungry zombies. I wonder why they don't feature more in zombie films and literature.
