Book Review: Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 7 by Hiromu Arakawa

Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 7 by Hiromu Arakawa

Edward has forgotten about his yearly assessment and races off to Southern HQ in order to retain his State Alchemist status. In his absence, Al is kidnapped! His kidnappers want to find out how he got in his armor body because they want to be immortal. Al thinks that's dumb. What's more significant, he doesn't remember how he got into his body, so they'll never be able to beat the information out of him. The kidnappers' doom is sealed, because who will save him first--his brother Ed, who is sure to pick a fight and maybe win, or his teacher Izumi, who is sure to mop the floor with the bad guys?

The story is still entertaining and is making slow forward progress. Ed and Al are working on getting their regular human bodies back, but a lot of side issues are getting in the way (like the whole State Alchemists' agenda).

Recommended.
