More pictures that didn't make their own post...
The library had a special storybook friends story time featuring Salina Yoon's Penguin. It's much better than featuring Batman's Penguin. My son made a penguin in the craft.
The next week they had an Unbirthday Party as made famous in Alice in Wonderland (because you have a lot more unbirthdays than birthdays!). They had stories and songs, including one with a balloon game. Balloons were available for playing during the story time and my son got to take one home. They also danced to the Hokey Pokey, which I think of more as a wedding song than a birthday song.
We made pancakes for Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras/etc. The most picture-worthy part of that was our son delightfully mixing the batter.
Presidents' Day weekend featured a snow storm that would have closed schools if it hadn't come on Saturday afternoon and evening. We had fun playing in it, especially with Granny and Grandpa in town.
The prescholar was more comfortable staying in a tent downstairs than in the fort outside.
