Climate Change

Walking out the door this morning, we discovered that Fall has started in earnest. The temperature was in the high 50s Fahrenheit (around 15 Celsius). The sky was grayed over with rain clouds. The rain was somewhere between a mist and a soft drizzle. The wind was light but persistent. We've had weather like this for a couple of days. The kids and I even went for a walk in such weather yesterday with our raincoats buttoned up tightly.

As Jacob came outside this morning, he said, "It's a nice day out!" He wasn't being ironic or sarcastic or humorous. He really meant it. Maybe, someday, we parents will see things his way, too.
