We experienced our first major snowstorm in England this weekend. The accumulation was about 3 inches of fluffy, light snow. The snowfall started Saturday afternoon and by the evening, the street was a winter wonderland.
Before the sun set, the kids were playing in the backyard snow with the neighbors. We had a great time tossing snow around and playing with the chunks of ice that had formed on outdoor furniture. We had so much fun we forgot to take pictures.
We didn't get much more overnight but the morning did look glorious outside.
Since the roads looked impassible and the neighbors were coming over for a "thank you for babysitting" brunch, we did not go to morning Mass. We will head out to the 6 p.m. Sunday Mass in town. Hopefully there's parking available near the church!
